RUGGAARD and ASSOCIATES OFFICE HOURS DURING COVID-19

To our Valued Clients,

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, Ruggaard & Associates Inc. remains committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. As part of the financial services industry, we are exempt from Ohio’s shelter in place order. However, we have a responsibility to our staff, their families, you as our clients, and the community around us to take extra precautions when dealing with this global pandemic. We have been implementing plans to reduce office staffing by working remotely.   Now our workforce is fully equipped to work remotely and we will continue to monitor e-mails, answer phone calls, and monitor your accounts. We will continue our remote work in an effort to protect and serve our staff, our clients and the community around us. 

It is our intention that our business will remain open during our normal office hours, 8:30-5:00 EDT. As the situation is very fluid, our office hours may change. We will communicate any changes to you. We are fully committed to continuing to serve our clients with excellence, striving to provide our solutions and services without interruption.
 

Tax Preparation Services:

The IRS has postponed the April 15th Federal tax filing and payment deadline by 90 days. 

Please note, as of this date, most state and local taxing authorities (including Ohio) have NOT extended their deadlines.  

We will continue to prepare tax returns during this period. If you have not submitted your tax documents to us, please send them when available. We encourage all clients to use our client portal to upload tax documents. If you have not signed up for your personal portal, please call us and we can walk you through the steps to do so.
